Sovereign Group partners with Praemium

New and existing personal and corporate pension schemes will be moved onto the platform

International pensions provider Sovereign Group has signed terms with Praemium to offer platform services to its pension scheme members and private clients of Sovereign Wealth.

The global trust and company services provider will transition existing and new personal and corporate pension schemes to the Praemium platform, as well as on-board clients of asset manager Sovereign Wealth.

Sovereign Group said the partnership will “ensure that all members receive a high level of service across its various operating jurisdictions”.

Praemium International has been approved by the Malta Financial Services Authority to provide custody for Sovereign’s Malta and Gibraltar occupational pension schemes.

The platform’s investor portal will also give Sovereign clients 24/7 access to view their investments in any currency.

Eamon Bermingham, managing director of Sovereign Wealth, said: “We believe that [Praemium’s] strength in technology and service will support our focus on helping our clients implement the most efficient and effective means to realise their wealth management objectives.”
